MI-IMPACT regularly offers hands-on programs for Michigan youth ages 6–24. The programs featured below represent past opportunities and provide a glimpse of the experiences we create each year. Check our current programs page for upcoming offerings.

    Kidpreneur 1.0

    MI-IMPACT offered grants to Michigan youth entrepreneurs age 10 to 24, supporting business ideas, product marketing, service initiatives, and the expansion of existing businesses.

    MI-IMPACT was back at it for a second year of grants to Michigan youth entrepreneurs age 10 to 24, supporting business ideas, product marketing, service initiatives, and the expansion of existing businesses.

    MI-IMPACT supported youth age 13-24 in beekeeping by providing a flow hive, bees, safety equipment, and educational modules.

    Can Dry Freeze!

    MI-IMPACT equipped participants with all the tools and resources necessary to produce shelf-stable and freezer-ready food items - including herbs, vegetables, and fruit.

    Virtual Book Club

    MI-IMPACT invited Michigan youth age 14-24 to explore the theme Embracing an Entrepreneurial Spirit. Participants received two books, and attended two virtual book club meetings.

    MI-IMPACT gave Michigan youth interested in raising chickens, collecting fresh eggs, and putting meat on the family table everything they needed to cluck their way to success.

    MI-IMPACT provided admitted youth with a full scholarship to ARCTURUS PRIMITIVE SKILLS INSTITUTE for a weekend of learning in the Michigan Wilderness!

Programs Open Now – Apply While Spots Are Available

MI-IMPACT offers four seasonal programs throughout the year. Some program applications open and close on a specific date with admissions made immediately. Other program applications remain open until all program kits have been distributed and admission are made on a rolling basis.
